The Chicago Pneumatic CP872 is a general-duty 1/4" (6 mm) straight pneumatic die grinder powered by a reliable 0.6 HP (470 W) motor with an aluminium body for strength and lightness. An integrated pneumatic regulator allows the operator to adjust air pressure and speed directly at the tool — no inline regulator required.
A contoured safety lever ensures secure operation during high-speed grinding, while the 27,000 RPM free speed delivers efficient material removal for deburring, grinding, and surface finishing tasks.
